As we know, Macros are a good way in Star Wars Galaxies to help you with the tasks that are overly repetitive such as sampling resources or using flourishes in a cantina. In the game, having enough Star Wars Galaxies gold is very useful.
How do I make a Macro and Use it?
The basic creation of a macro is made in your Abilities and Commands box. To get there, the default key is the semi-colon key.
Name your macro. It has to be one word, and should be named for its purpose.
Pick an icon for your macro. I try to pick one that also kind of looks like what I am trying to get done.
I will go into a few macro commands.
Click Accept.
Three ways exist to use your macro. The first is to simply do a slash command. So if your macro is called music, then /music. The second is to drag it onto your hotbar. Click on the icon, or the number associated with that position, and right clicks. Finally, you can also assign a hot key to your macro.
To assign a hot key, go into your options and click on Key map. Then click on Macros. Select your macro and click Reset Bindings. Click the key or combination of keys you want to bind your macro to.
Now you can just press a key or two to do what you want to do!
