I'm just curious to know who else has tried these two new skirmishes. They seem allot harder in comparison to the more familiar ones. I've noticed that even with good gear, and a fully upgraded soldier. It's still nearly impossible to finish either one. What I mean is, clearing out the area around the flags, no problem. Or better still... trying to chase down and kill that annoying goblin with a monstrous elite orca boss on your hind quarters that heals after you bring him down to 75% every time is just plain frustrating. It seems to me from the overall feel of these two new skirmishes, that LOTRO Gold players are set at a tier 2 or 3 difficulty.
