So in DFO WotLK we have normal 5 mans, mostly easily do-able with a full party of pre-anything fresh 80s, even towards the beginning of the expansion. We also have Heroic 5 mans. Heroes in the beginning of the expansion are the fundamental challenge of 80 new groups is not aware that they do play together at the same time.
Unfortunately while the skill required for running a Heroic has constantly diminished over the expansion, the constantly increasing value of the badges awarded has kept some players coming back for more. The improving badges provide an incentive for folks who could not keep up on the badge gear front purely through raiding, or who would like to get into their top badge gear just a bit faster than their peers.
This has led to folks like me doing heroics ad nausea for those who do not speak Latin. Mercifully we finally reached the point where doing Heroics, even for the daily, was no longer worth it for us. Anyone have any comments, they may want to see, to run almost a year disgusting hero.
